Culture Design Strategist Consultant

You are a human-centered design strategist who can move from messy research to clear insight, from insight to strategy, and from strategy to execution. You will conduct interviews, identify patterns, understand the system around the problem, facilitate working sessions, write compelling narratives, and help build the experiences, communications, tools, and rituals that move an organization forward. This is not traditional management consulting. The recommendation is not the finish line. You will own meaningful workstreams and stay close enough to the work to help make the strategy real. Strong Consultants bring rigor, creative curiosity, client presence, and the judgment to keep moving when there is no obvious path. You can think expansively, act decisively, and bring people with you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Discovery, Research & Insight Synthesis Use interviews, stories, surveys, data, observation, and secondary research to understand what is really happening inside an organization. Look for patterns, tensions, contradictions, motivations, and what remains unsaid. Turn that complexity into insights the client can actually use. Turn research into a clear point of view about what needs to change and why. Help define the future state, the beliefs and mindsets needed to reach it, and the systems that support those shifts. Connect human insight to practical strategic choices. Facilitation & Co-Design Design and lead workshops, working sessions, interviews, and leadership experiences that help people think together. Create enough trust for honest conversation while surfacing tension, challenging assumptions, and moving groups toward useful decisions. Design with clients, not simply for them. Narrative, Memetic & Semiotic Development Turn insight into language, stories, and ideas people can understand, remember, and carry forward. Write narratives, points of view, drawlines, and creative briefs, then partner closely with Creative to make the thinking visible. The goal is not just clarity, but ideas that travel. Transformational Experience & Activation Design Move strategy off the page and into the lived experience of the organization. Design workshops, Masterclasses, rituals, artifacts, Culture Walls, launches, communications, and other interventions that help new thinking become real. Consider how the experience feels as carefully as what it communicates. Visual Storytelling & Deliverables You'll craft decks, memos, and frameworks that bring clarity and resonance to complex challenges. You'll write and design in Gapingvoid's voice, elevating both the aesthetic and emotional impact of our work. You'll plan and execute events that provide impact and help transform large groups of people. Client & Stakeholder Leadership Build trusted relationships across complex client environments, from frontline employees to senior leaders. Listen deeply, navigate competing perspectives, communicate clearly, and help people move through resistance or uncertainty. Know when to support, when to challenge, and when to say the difficult thing. Delivery, Ownership & Implementation Own meaningful workstreams from idea through execution. Manage timelines, decisions, client communication, dependencies, revisions, and the details that keep complicated work moving. Strategy matters here, but follow-through matters just as much. Think beyond the launch and design for what happens next. Help clients build the rituals, language, recognition, feedback loops, leadership behaviors, and repeated experiences that allow new beliefs and behaviors to spread. The goal is a culture system the organization can eventually own, evolve, and sustain.

ABOUT GAPINGVOID We build human operating systems. Gapingvoid exists to transform how organizations think, feel, and perform -from the inside out. We create Culture as a System (CaaS): a behavioral programming discipline that treats culture like code. It debugs dysfunction, installs belief, and maintains performance- scalably, measurably, and under pressure. Our team is a mix of culture designers, behavioral scientists, artists, storytellers, anthropologists, and learning strategists- united by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a bias for bold, meaningful change. We Cut Through BS. We Design Belief. We Install Devotion. Work sits at the bottom of most people's identity stack. Dead last. Beneath family, friends, hobbies—everything else that matters to them. We flip that script. Joining Gapingvoid means stepping into a fast-moving, emotionally intelligent environment where we care audibly, lead with clarity, and build systems that last. It's intense.
