Remote IT Support Specialist
Industry: Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Location: Remote located EST or CST hours, supporting employees in Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST
Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: 3–6 months, with potential to convert to a full-time position
Work Authorization: US Citizens or Green Card holders
About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a growing biotechnology and pharmaceutical organization focused on developing and manufacturing innovative products within the life sciences industry. They are looking for a Remote IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support to employees across the organization. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting across multiple devices and applications, and working in a fast-paced environment where security and reliability are critical.
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on IT support or Help Desk experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Mac environments.
  • Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Online.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Experience troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices, printers, monitors, docking stations, webcams, Bluetooth devices, and other peripherals.
  • Experience working with IT ticketing systems, escalation processes, permissions, and approvals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple support requests.
Nice to Have: Experience repairing or servicing laptops. Previous experience supporting organizations within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical equipment, nanotechnology, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. If interested, please apply here!
