Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Job Description: Richfield Area Pet Clinic is looking for an experienced, qualified Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are a single-doctor practice that takes pride in providing excellent, compassionate care to our patients and their families. We are looking for a mature, dependable professional with solid clinical experience who enjoys working with dogs and cats and understands the importance of great client service. Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience Mature, responsible, dependable Self starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to always be told what needs to be done. Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and dispositions Basic knowledge of veterinary exam, treatment, and surgery protocols. Able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Friendly, compassionate, and professional with both pets and clients. Able to multi-task in a busy veterinary environment 9. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. We offer a convenient small town location. Reasonable hours with no weekends or after-hours emergencies, flexible scheduling and a friendly, close-knit work environment. Pay is competitive and will depend on experience, skills and performance.
