Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a highly motivated Junior Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Associate with at least one year of experience to join their Kansas City, Missouri office. Duties:
Assist in handling bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings. Participate in state court receiverships and out-of-court restructurings. Develop effective business solutions for clients across various industries. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
Requirements:
Active Missouri licensure or eligibility to waive in. At least one year of experience in bankruptcy or creditors' rights. Superior academic performance. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Missouri or eligible for waiver. Skills Strong interest in bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice. Ability to manage complex legal matters. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
