Job Summary: We're hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support a high-volume, production-based pharmacy/warehouse environment. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare, package, and distribute medications while maintaining accuracy, speed, and strong attention to detail in a repetitive workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill prescription vials with tablets/capsules and verify correct product/strength
  • Replenish automated dispensing cells; scan product; enter lot/expiration details
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with discrepancy research
  • Prepare cold-chain/specialty prescriptions per handling/packing requirements
  • Pack and ship prescriptions while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient safety
  • Identify issues, resolve when possible, and escal
Required Qualifications:
  • Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)1+ year of experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service setting (externships/training do not count)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation for onsite work 5 days/week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PTCB National Certification Experience meeting hourly production goals/metrics
  • Work Environment / Physical Requirements (high level)
  • Large-scale production environment; occasional work in refrigerated areas (limited portion of time)
  • Standing/walking most of the shift; some lifting/carrying and use of scanners/equipment
