Real Estate Paralegal

Responsibilities: Support attorneys through all phases of commercial real estate and lending transactions from contract through closing. Draft, review, and revise deeds, affidavits, amendments, closing statements, settlement documents, and other transaction-related materials. Conduct title and survey reviews, identify issues, prepare objection letters, and coordinate resolutions. Order and review title commitments, lien searches, zoning reports, municipal searches, and related due diligence materials. Assist with commercial lending matters, including financing documentation, UCC searches, and organizational/entity review. Coordinate with lenders, title companies, clients, brokers, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process. Track critical deadlines and ensure timely completion of all closing requirements. Prepare closing binders and maintain organized transaction records. File and record real estate documents and UCC filings with appropriate governmental agencies.

Qualifications: Prior experience as a Commercial Real Estate and/or Commercial Lending Paralegal. Title and Survey experience required. Strong knowledge of commercial lending transactions, financing documentation, and lender requirements. Experience with title review, survey review, due diligence, UCC searches, and real estate closings. Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.

Preferred Experience: High-volume commercial real estate transaction experience. Familiarity with closing software and title platforms. Experience reviewing corporate entity records and financing materials. The pay range for this position is $30-35/hour depending on experience.
