Freight Transportation ArrangementAll Other Support Activities for TransportationPacking and CratingShipping CoordinatorWe are looking for a Shipping Coordinator in Berwick, LA to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments for our client in the oil services industry. Hours are 7 AM to 4 PM and it is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Shipping team to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
Work with internal customers to maintain production flow.
Transport material to designated location.
Perform various materials functions within SAP
Ensures proper documentation on all shipments.
Assist in crating/uncrating when necessary.
Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to the equipment or personnel
Follow all HSE and Quality processes.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of relevant experience
SAP experience is preferred
