Locum Breast Imaging Radiologist Louisiana Overview A leading outpatient imaging practice in Louisiana is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities in a dedicated breast imaging environment. Assignment Details

Practice Setting Outpatient breast imaging centers Epic EMROnsite clinical coverage
Responsibilities:
  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Perform breast ultrasound examinations
  • Interpret breast MRI studies
  • Perform stereotactic breast biopsiesPerform ultrasound-guided breast biopsiesPerform MRI-guided breast biopsies
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Complete timely documentation in Epic
  • RequirementsBoard Certified Radiologist
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (required)
  • Active state medical license or eligibility
  • Clean malpractice and background history preferred
  • Ability to obtain Louisiana Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) coverage during credentialing
  • Availability for ongoing weekday coverage
