Our customer is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of safety and environmental compliance programs across their national footprint. What our customers need help with Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, programs, and procedures companywide. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments. Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans. Deliver safety training programs to employees and site supervisors. Track and analyze safety metrics, trends, and incident reports. Manage workers' compensation claims in partnership with HR.Maintain required safety documentation, permits, and certifications. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agency inspections. Promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization. Design and implement immediate corrective action plans following an incident to ensure the same accident never happens twice. Manage compliance with environmental regulations and client-mandated \"Green Cleaning\" certifications (e.g., Green Seal, LEED standards), tracking the eco-friendly disposal of waste and chemical runoff. Partner closely with the L&D Specialist to translate dense OSHA regulations into highly visual, bilingual safety modules, animations, and micro-content. What stands out amongst top talent Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Experience managing safety for a high-volume, mobile, or distributed hourly workforce (e.g., facility services, construction, warehousing, commercial laundry, or waste management).Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA requirements. Professional certification (CSP, ASP, or similar) preferred. Experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial, or a related industry a plus. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel to multi-site locations nationwide.
