For our client, we are seeking a Government Affairs Manager II, Midwest and Central Region to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will focus on advancing regional public policy priorities, building trusted relationships with policymakers, and shaping legislative and regulatory strategy across a multi-state footprint. The position will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to translate policy developments into actionable business guidance and advocacy efforts. It also requires representing the organization in external trade associations and coalitions while helping ensure the company’s interests are clearly and effectively communicated.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $159,000 - $168,000 annually

Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers across the Midwest and Central region Develop and execute legislative, regulatory, and political strategies Represent the company in regional trade associations and industry coalitions Create policy solutions and advocacy campaigns in partnership with internal stakeholdersEducate cross-functional stakeholders on legislation and policy developments

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in state or local government, policy, or corporate government relations Established relationships with policymakers and the ability to engage effectively with elected officials Deep understanding of lawmaking and regulatory processes at the state and local levels Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure Resourceful with a proactive approach to challenges Willingness to travel frequently Positive, collaborative mindset
