Pharmacy Technician I

Support pharmacists in a community health pharmacy by entering prescriptions, preparing medications for pharmacist verification, coordinating refills, assisting patients, processing renewal and prior authorization requests, and maintaining medication inventory. Enter prescriptions and refills, flagging missing information or discrepancies for follow-up. Prepare medication labels and prescriptions for pharmacist verification, including counting and reconstituting medications. Coordinate medication synchronization, refill schedules, and prescription renewal requests. Assist patients with prescription pickup and payments, and route phone calls. Process renewal and prior authorization requests for delivery to providers. Maintain inventory, check expiration dates, receive orders, and package prescriptions for satellite clinics.
