Key Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active School Psychologist certification/license as required by state regulations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
  • Experience conducting group and individual counseling (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide academic and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, review, and implement IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to foster students social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing guidance on behavioral and educational strategies
  • Support crisis intervention, consultation, and problem-solving initiatives within the school community
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in relevant staff development
