This role will support a group of attorneys handling a high volume of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing matters, and investor-related documentation. The ideal candidate is a career real estate paralegal with significant experience managing transactional documentation and supporting attorneys throughout the closing process. The position offers exposure to a broad range of commercial real estate matters within a stable, collaborative organization known for its long-tenured employees and active transaction pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing transactions. Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, closing statements, and transaction files. Coordinate and assist with commercial real estate closings from contract through post-closing. Draft and maintain operating agreements, investor subscription documents, leases, lease amendments, and related transactional documents. Review title reports, surveys, and related due diligence materials. Assist with entity formation and corporate documentation. Manage post-closing deliverables, closing binders, transfer documents, and other transaction-related matters. Provide support on condominium and cooperative transactions as needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure all deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and closing processes. Experience preparing and managing real estate transaction documents independently. Familiarity with title, survey, and due diligence review. Experience handling investor documents and operating agreements preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
