In fact, you don't need powder coating experience at all. If you're comfortable operating a forklift or combi-lift, enjoy hands-on work, and are willing to learn skills like powder coating, washing, and material preparation, you may be exactly who we're looking for. We can teach processes. We're looking for the person with the right mindset. Who We're Looking For You're someone who takes pride in being dependable. When something needs moved, loaded, washed, prepared, or finished, you're willing to jump in and help get it done. You may already have experience operating a forklift or combi-lift in a manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or production environment. Maybe you're looking for a place where you can take what you already know and build additional skills instead of doing the exact same thing every day. You don't have to know powder coating when you walk through our doors. You do have to be willing to learn it. The right person for our team: Is comfortable operating a forklift or combi-lift Shows up consistently and on time Takes safety seriously Pays attention to the details Is willing to wash, prep, hang, load, unload, and move materials Wants to learn powder coating and other areas of the operation Can work independently without needing someone constantly looking over their shoulder Steps in when teammates need help Takes pride in doing things the right way Can handle a physical job that requires standing, lifting, and moving throughout the day Brings a positive attitudeeven when the day gets busy More Than One Job to Learn This isn't a position where we expect you to stand in one spot doing one thing forever. You'll have the opportunity to learn different parts of the Hot Kote operation. Depending on your experience and interests, that could include forklift/combi-lift operation, material handling, washing and preparing parts, loading and unloading the coating line, and learning how to powder coat.
