About the Role: The Company is seeking a Managing Senior Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will serve as a key leader within the Legal Services Department, providing direct support to the General Counsel and advising executive leadership and business units on a wide range of legal matters. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts, lending agreements, and corporate legal documents, as well as managing outside litigation counsel to protect the organization's legal interests. The Managing Senior Counsel will also be responsible for supervising legal staff, leading the department, and supporting corporate governance initiatives. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas (or eligible for reciprocity) and have a minimum of 6 years' legal experience, with a preference for those who have worked with financial institutions, banking, credit unions, financial services, or banking regulatory agencies. The role requires a candidate with previous leadership experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance legal risk with organizational objectives.
