Major Responsibilities and Duties: Food Preparation and Service:
- Prepare food according to menus, recipes, and district procedures
- Serve food according to meal schedules and portion control standards
- Store and handle food items and supplies safely and appropriately
- Maintain organized and clean storage and serving areas
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries and supplies
- Safety and Sanitation:
- Operate kitchen tools and equipment according to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving, and work areas
- Maintain garbage collection and disposal areas in sanitary condition
- Correct unsafe conditions when possible and report concerns promptly
- Maintain appropriate personal appearance and hygiene standards
- Operational Support and Compliance:
- Handle cashiering functions and meal accountability procedures accurately
- Maintain required food preparation and operational records
- Support teamwork and positive interaction with fellow staff members
- Complete required training and continuing education requirements
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures

None.
