Data Analyst

Job Description: This role is pivotal in analyzing, modeling, and forecasting financial data related to Azure cloud services and on-premises data center workloads. The ideal candidate combines financial acumen with strong data analytics skills to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications: FinOps certification or training. Experience with Azure Reserved Instances and Just-In-Time (JIT) capacity planning. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning frameworks.

Required Skills: 4 Years - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.6 Years - Advanced level of proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query and DAX, Excel (advanced), and data visualization best practices.5 Years - Some data modeling and data manipulation skills to maintain data sets from multiple, heterogeneous sources 5 Years - High familiarity with Azure cost management, Apptio, and cloud billing structures.5 Years - Understanding of server migration strategies and workload cost modeling.5 Years - Ability to translate technical data into insights for technical teams and managers 4 Years - Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations.6 Years - Proficiency in Power BI, including independently updating data, performing queries, and managing and analyzing datasets with little to no assistance.4 Years - Ability to translate complex data into clear, accurate, and actionable information for leadership and decision-making.
