Corporate Counsel

What You’ll Do: Draft, review, and negotiatea wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, professional services, consulting, data processing, NDAs, click-through terms, service level, and master services agreements. Act as astrategic legal partnerto Product, Engineering, and Design teams—advising on product development, launches, and new features to ensure compliance with applicable laws and mitigate risk. Providepractical, solutions-oriented guidanceto business teams on contracting, compliance, privacy, consumer protection, advertising, and promotions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including InfoSec, Compliance, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Finance—to drive transactions to completion and align on risk management. Manage outside counselrelationships, including reviewing filings, research, and advice to ensure efficiency and consistency with company priorities. Monitor legal and regulatory developmentsrelevant to e-commerce, marketplaces, content moderation, and digital consumer protection, and advise business teams accordingly.

About You: J.D. degree and active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar (Michigan bar strongly preferred).5+ yearsof relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (experience with venture-backed, e-commerce, or technology companies is a plus).Excellentcontract drafting and negotiationskills, with the ability to balance key risks and business objectives while maintaining professionalism and strong relationships. Comfortable operating in afast-paced, cross-functional environment, supporting multiple business units with changing priorities. Strong judgment and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable, and business-oriented legal advice. Compensation and benefits: Colorado base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses.
