Experienced Healthcare Lawyer

The Role: This attorney will work closely with our partners, associates, and clients on a broad range of healthcare, business, transactional, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate has meaningful law firm experience and is comfortable taking ownership of matters from initial analysis through completion. A background in healthcare compliance, healthcare transactions, corporate/business law, or regulated industries is strongly preferred. We are also interested in attorneys with strong general business and transactional experience who are excited to develop deeper expertise in healthcare law.

Responsibilities: Advise healthcare businesses and entrepreneurs on business, regulatory, and transactional matters Draft and review agreements, corporate documents, MSAs, employment-related agreements, policies, and other legal documents Assist with healthcare transactions, corporate structuring, and entity-related matters Analyze healthcare regulatory and compliance questions and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance Work directly with clients and develop trusted advisor relationships Conduct legal research and translate complex legal requirements into clear recommendations Manage multiple matters and deadlines with a high degree of ownership Collaborate with partners, associates, legal support staff, and operations Identify potential legal or operational issues before they become problems Contribute to the development and improvement of firm processes, templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources Utilize technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of legal work Qualifications 5+ years of full time law firm experience Active license in New York, Texas, Florida, or California, plus at least one additional state Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills Experience managing matters with significant independence Healthcare compliance and/or healthcare transactional experience strongly preferred Strong general business, corporate, or transactional experience will also be considered Excellent client communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Comfortable working in a fully remote and technology-driven environment Practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal advice Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned matters
