Switchboard Engineer II

Job Description: The Switchboard Engineer II is responsible for Designing Low Voltage Switchboards and Panelboards. This role requires great attention to detail with a preference for self-starting mentality. All products must be designed using applicable safety standards & regulations (National Electric Code, Underwriters, Laboratories, etc).The Engineer will also be responsible for mentoring and leading other team members as needed.

Create wiring diagrams using PLCs, breaker accessories, relays, contractors, power supplies, etc. Create and understand 2D Front View, One-Line/Single-Line and Layout drawings using CAD Software Ensure clear communication between Engineering, Manufacturing and other key stakeholders. Work in a team environment to analyze requirements from clients and develop design solutions Ensure clear communication with suppliers/vendors on an as-needed basis
