Box Welder

Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on box structures and fabricated metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with company standards. Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding operations. Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other precision tools. Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals and project deadlines. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or quality concerns to supervisors. Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication required. Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods. Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
