Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Manage utility and public works projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, and municipal infrastructure improvements Serve as the primary client liaison for municipalities, utility districts, and public agencies Oversee and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and subconsultants Review and approve engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and constructability Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards, funding requirements, and agency guidelines Identify and manage project risks while maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders (varies depending on PM experience)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain if required by role) 6+ years of experience working in/delivering utility or public works infrastructure/municipal projects Proven experience managing municipal clients and public-sector projects Strong understanding of Civil3D design, utility systems, public works standards, and capital improvement programs Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration Preferred Experience Utility, municipal, Public experience projects Stormwater and drainage infrastructure Roadway, streetscape, or transit‑related public works projects Experience with federally or state-funded projects
