About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development, National Payers, to drive revenue growth with large national health plans. The role owns new-client acquisition, expansion into new markets and lines of business, and revenue growth across existing accounts. Responsibilities include building and closing an enterprise sales pipeline, developing account strategies, and leading complex sales cycles with payer executives and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will partner with account management and cross-functional teams to shape proposals, negotiate agreements, forecast bookings, track performance metrics, and bring market insights into business planning. Candidates should have at least 10 years of enterprise sales or business development experience selling to health plans, with a record of winning new clients and expanding major payer relationships. Experience with enterprise procurement, contracting, multi-year deals, and payer business lines is required; familiarity with quality programs, diagnostics, or population health is an advantage. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business or a science-related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Strong executive communication, consultative selling, negotiation, pipeline management, disciplined forecasting, and cross-functional leadership skills are essential, along with fluency in using AI.Hiring Manager TitleChief Commercial Officer FunctionsBusiness Development Sales/Revenue
