Executive Assistant to the Founder

About the role: Our founder runs a lot of deals at the same time. We need someone who keeps all of it organized and moving. You will keep our deal tracker up to date so every deal shows where it stands and what happens next. You will research artists who have a fast-growing song but are not signed to a publishing or distribution deal. You will find attorneys, business managers, managers and brokers who can bring us deals. Then you will reach out to them and follow up on every response. CWE also uses AI tools to do much of the research, drafting and tracking. You will run those tools each day, check their work and send the results to the right person on the team. You do not need to know how to code. You need to be able to tell when the AI got something wrong. This role is for someone who is super organized, learns fast, brings fresh ideas and loves the music and entertainment business.

What you will do: You will run CWE's AI tools each day. You will check their work, send the results to the right person and flag anything that looks wrong. You will find unsigned artists, songwriters and producers with songs that are growing fast. You will research attorneys, business managers, managers and brokers who can bring us deals. You will build target lists with correct contact information. You will reach out by email, Linked In and social media to get an answer. You will keep the deal tracker current so every deal shows where it stands and what happens next. You will help run our referral program by logging every lead our referral partners send and keeping them updated. You will manage the founder's calendar and schedule calls with the people you find. You will send the founder a short recap every Friday with your outreach numbers, deal updates and how the AI tools did that week.

What we are looking for: You are super organized. Loose ends bother you and you have your own system for keeping track of everything. You learn fast. You can hear something new once and put it to work the same day. You are creative. You bring ideas without being asked and you like finding new ways to do things. You are passionate about the music and entertainment business. You follow the deals, the companies and the people. You are comfortable working with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude. You check their answers instead of trusting them blindly. You are ready to help on both sides of the company. Most of your time will be on music, but you will also support CWE Studios on TV and film projects. You know the basics. You know what a publishing deal and a distribution deal are and who attorneys, managers and business managers are. You do not need A&R experience. You will not be judging talent. You will be finding facts and keeping things moving. You are a strong researcher. You know how to find information that is not on the first page of Google. You know your way around streaming numbers and social media. Tools like Chartmetric, Spotify, Tik Tok, Instagram and Linked In are part of how you work. You write outreach emails that people actually answer. You follow up without being reminded. You are comfortable with Google Sheets, Gmail and Google Calendar. You are discreet. You will see private deal information and you will keep it private. You live in the Atlanta area. This role is Atlanta only. You will meet with the founder and the team in person. You are available during Eastern Time business hours. How it works This is a part-time contract role at about 20 hours per week. This role is for Atlanta-area candidates only. We cannot consider applicants who live outside Atlanta. Pay is $2,500 per month. This is a contract role. You will be paid as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes. The role does not include benefits. The first 90 days are a trial period. If it is working well, the rate will be reviewed for an increase at the end of the trial. You will sign a confidentiality agreement before you start. Finalists complete a short skills test before we make a decision.
