Compensation: $125,000 - $165,000 + Bonus
A rapidly growing private aerospace and defense company is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to support a major facility expansion and lead strategic indirect procurement initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a stable, growth-oriented organization with significant visibility, autonomy, and long-term career advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing across indirect spend categories, including CAPEX, facilities, IT, services, construction, and corporate spend
- Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and cost savings initiatives
- Lead a team of 6-10 procurement professionals
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain
- Support procurement activities tied to a major site expansion and future growth plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years of procurement experience 5+ years of procurement people leadership experienceERP experience required (SAP preferred)
- Candidates should have purchasing experience in at least three (3) of the following categories: Capital equipment and manufacturing machinery
- Facilities and building services
- Construction projects and lease agreements
- Software, IT infrastructure, and technology services
- Corporate travel and event management
- Temporary labor and employee benefits
