Human Resources Manager, Operations Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 + bonus

This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a strategic HR business partner to plant leadership, provide guidance across employee relations, and support their operations portfolio. You will have to opportunity to implement a workforce strategy and culture for a platform at the forefront of power demand in the US.
What you will do:
  • Serve as a primary HR business partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Partner with leadership on core people processes, including annual compensation reviews, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, benefits administration, and employee development.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end HR processes, policies, and procedures to strengthen compliance, operational efficiency, and consistency across facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly California and/or New York regulation
  • What you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field/equivalent relevant experience 5-7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources supporting manufacturing, industrial operations, utilities, energy, or similar environments. Preferably supporting hourly/operational workforces and unionized workforces Experience partnering with business leaders on core HR processes, including compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and benefits. Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve end-to-end HR processes, with a strong emphasis on compliance and operational efficiency. Strong employee relations background, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance management. Familiarity with applying New York and/or California employment laws and regulations Ability to work from Chicago office on a hybrid schedule and travel approximately 30–50% to operational facilities
