Dispatcher

Primary responsibilities include: Answer phone calls with great customer service, phone etiquette, and communication skills with clients of all backgrounds. Patience and communication are a priority. Knowledge of the WOTA Dispatch Manual and mission, territory, hours, drivers, and rider qualifications. Support drivers, utilizing push-to-talk (PTT) phones and dispatch software. Maintain a working knowledge of WOTA dispatch software and communication systems. Perform data entry and run reports. Make prompt route changes and decisions, based on communications with drivers and riders. Create a routine and work successfully with a team or independently. Attend all training required by management. When necessary, perform driver duties. Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Minimum requirements include: Maintain a chauffeur's license in good standing *Ability to lift a minimum of 40# and push/pull a wheelchair. Ability to perform all Driver duties as required.

Hours: Full-time or part-time, hours can range from 5:45am-10:00pm Mon-Sun. Overtime must be pre-approved. Maintaining a chauffeur's license as a dispatcher is not required if a disability precludes employee from being able to drive or obtain the license and the rest of the job requirements can be fulfilled.
