Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for performing light assembly of electro-mechanical components in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, steady hand coordination, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
Essential Functions:
- Perform light assembly of electro-mechanical products and subassemblies
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Conduct basic soldering tasks (through-hole and/or small component work)
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report defects, material issues, or process concerns to supervision
- Support production goals by meeting daily output and quality targets
- Assist with basic packaging, labeling, and material handling as needed
Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant assembly experience, preferably in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environmentPrior soldering experience preferredAbility to read and follow basic assembly drawings and instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetSkills & RequirementsGood eyesight and manual dexterity for fine, detailed workAbility to sit or stand for extended periods during the workdaySteady hands and good hand-eye coordinationReliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environmentBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
Working Conditions:
- Light industrial / production environment
- Repetitive tasks requiring focus and precision
- Use of small tools, soldering equipment, and assembly fixtures
