Key HighlightsUPMC–SOMERSET has a mix of surgical cases and non-gynecological cytopathology specimens. Anatomic and clinical services are provided by a team of four pathologists covering AP/CP services at Somerset/Altoona/Bedford facilities. There is close connection with the specialty services of the four academic core hospitals in Pittsburgh, providing expertise and consultation in all areas as necessary, as well as sophisticated services in immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular anatomic pathology.
