Remote | 50% Travel We are seeking an accomplished M&A Manager with a strong background in Industrial Automation or Fluid Power to support and lead strategic acquisition initiatives for a growing industrial organization. This is a high-impact opportunity for an M&A professional who understands the industrial technology, fluid power, automation, and engineered products markets and can combine transaction expertise with strong commercial and operational business judgment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support end-to-end M&A activities, including target identification, evaluation, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and transaction execution. Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities within Industrial Automation, Fluid Power, Motion Control, and related industrial markets. Build relationships with acquisition targets, business owners, investment bankers, advisors, and industry executives. Conduct financial, commercial, operational, and strategic analysis of potential acquisitions. Partner with executive leadership to develop acquisition strategies and recommendations. Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across finance, operations, sales, engineering, HR, and legal. Support financial modeling, valuation, deal structuring, and transaction negotiations. Lead or support post-acquisition integration and performance initiatives. Monitor acquisition performance, synergies, and strategic objectives. Must-
Have Qualifications: 5+ years of M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or transaction-related experience.
Required: Industry experience in Industrial Automation or Fluid Power. Strong understanding of industrial distribution, manufacturing, engineered products, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, motion control, or related markets. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities. Proven experience managing complex transactions and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while partnering closely with executive leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
