Locum Tenens Physician Ohio Seeking a qualified physician for locum tenens coverage at a Level I Trauma hospital in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in recurring monthly coverage at a hospital-based practice. Coverage Schedule Start: January 2027 Coverage: One 5-consecutive-day block per month
Schedule: 5 days per week
Call: Required, including potential weekend coverage
Number of Physicians Needed: 1Reason for Coverage: Open FTEPractice Setting
Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based
Patient Population: 100% Adult & Geriatric
Average Census: Approximately patients per day Trauma Level: Level I Trauma CenterEMR: Epic Leadership/Teaching: No teaching or leadership responsibilities required
Responsibilities:
  • Inpatient hospital coverage
  • Emergency Department (ED) coverage
  • Surgical coverage
  • Coverage of inpatient units
  • Evaluation and management of adult and geriatric patients
  • Participation in required call coverage
  • Call Requirements
  • Call Required: YesCall Type: Beeper/Phone Call and In-House CallCall Ratio: Approximately 1:5Average Callback: Approximately 1 hour
