San Antonio, Texas What Is The Role...The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership, fundraising oversight, and operational direction for the Animal Defense League of Texas. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead organizational growth, cultivate key stakeholder relationships, drive fundraising and capital campaign efforts, and champion the ADL's mission of saving the lives of dogs and cats. THIS COMPANY OFFERS...Lead a highly respected, mission-driven nonprofit with a long-standing impact in the San Antonio community Serve as the public face of the organization while building relationships with donors, community leaders, volunteers, and strategic partners Play a key role in a significant capital campaign and facility expansion that will shape the future of animal welfare services in the region Partner with an engaged Board of Directors to drive strategic growth and long-term organizational success Leave a lasting legacy by advancing lifesaving programs and expanding ADL's impact across South TexasYOUR TYPICAL DAY...Lead the organization's strategic direction while ensuring alignment with the ADL's mission, goals, and long-term vision Cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate partners, community leaders, and animal welfare organizations Drive fundraising efforts, capital campaign initiatives, and financial sustainability strategies Partner closely with the Board of Directors on governance, planning, and organizational performanceBACKGROUND PROFILE...Proven executive leadership experience within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and financial performance. Animal welfare or similar industry experience highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and advocacy in this area is important. Accustomed to serving in close partnership with Development efforts, supporting major donor cultivation, and leading significant capital campaign or growth initiatives.
