Health Technician (Optometry)

Duties: Provides direct patient care under the eye care provider supervision. Retrieves medical charts to efficiently record and make appropriate disposition of the patient's record. Provides individual and group education as necessary and or requested an optical/ocular condition, and diseases. Coordinates referral services and transmits patient information with other health care providers, schedules patients, arranges transportation, and any other activities to obtain evaluation and treatment results from referral sources.
