Job Description: This position is part of Union SEIU -
DGeneral Overview:
Assists the Rehabilitation staff in the provision of patient care and supports departmental operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assists Rehabilitation staff with therapy treatments as directed and in accordance with department policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines, which may include transport of patients, records, equipment or supplies. (60%)Participates in non-patient care activities to facilitate efficient functioning of the department such as preparing and cleaning the work area and equipment, clerical support activities, maintaining inventory, and participation in program development and staff education. (40%)Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior healthcare experience preferred Ability to read, write and perform basic computer skills
