Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced permanent legal assistant to join our real estate team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing legal support to our team of experts. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing documents. Conduct legal research and provide detailed summaries of findings to attorneys. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information and documents are easily accessible. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and other appointments. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other relevant parties, both verbally and in writing. Prepare and review commercial loan closing documents, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for a successful closing. Assist with the drafting of legal correspondence, including letters, emails, and memos. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably within the real estate sector. Previous experience with commercial loan closings is essential. Strong knowledge of real estate law and legal procedures. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in legal documents. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal qualification is preferred, but not essential.
