Our client is searching for a highly skilled and personable Head Golf Professional to lead the golf operations at a prestigious golf club in George. This role is critical in delivering an exceptional golf experience for members and guests, encompassing teaching, club fitting, merchandise management, and tournament organization. You will be responsible for upholding the club's reputation for excellence while fostering a vibrant and engaging atmosphere on and around the course. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the golf shop, including inventory, merchandising, and sales.
Develop and deliver a comprehensive schedule of golf lessons, clinics, and junior programs.
Organize and oversee club tournaments, social golf events, and member competitions.
Provide expert club fitting services and manage club repair operations.
Maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and golf staff, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements:
PGA certification or equivalent professional golf qualification.
Extensive experience as a Golf Professional, with a proven track record in teaching and club management.
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in golf operations software and inventory management systems.
A passion for golf and a commitment to promoting the game at all levels.
