Wood Yard Manager (McBain, Michigan)

Essential Job Functions: Leadership & Team Management Communication & Collaboration Operational & Production Management Financial & Administrative Oversight Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Mechanical Troubleshooting

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, processing, railroad, or related industrial environments. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and operational reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Knowledge of quality assurance practices and process improvement methodologies. Basic mechanical troubleshooting and operational equipment knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and twist throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and repeated movements. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to walk on uneven terrain and move throughout an active industrial environment.
