This is a one-year, fixed-length, part-time, professional position with administrative and supervisory responsibilities. The position is in-person at the University of Maine in Orono. This position provides unique opportunities for a clinical psychologist interested in a career that combines leadership and mentorship. Typical hiring range for this fixed-length, part-time (0.50 FTE) position is $39,000 to $43,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Director is responsible for administration and leadership of the Psychological Services Center (PSC), the in-house training clinic for the doctoral program in clinical psychology. The program has enjoyed continuous APA accreditation since 1975 and is the only accredited clinical psychology program in the state. Every student in the doctoral program starts their practicum training at the PSC, under close supervision of the Director and clinical supervisors. Students carry PSC cases throughout their training. The Director of the PSC works closely with the other clinical faculty to ensure that students' clinical experiences align with the program's mission and values. Qualifications
Required:
Doctoral degree in psychology with a specialization in clinical psychology (or closely related discipline) from a training program that is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA)Completion of APA accredited predoctoral internship Licensed to practice psychology in Maine or license eligible. Strong clinical skills including: Psychological assessment Psychotherapy Consultation Strong skills in verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal interaction. Ability to function effectively in a variety of roles (e.g., supervisor, clinician, administrator).Ability to use independent judgement, and to manage and impart confidential information. Skill in preparing and maintaining patient records. Ability to travel (normally requiring a driver's license).

Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management Evidence of proficiency engaging with external organizations and with members of the public, consistent with the responsibilities of the position. Experience providing clinical supervision Tele-behavioral health training and experience Record of organizing/providing professional development experience for psychologists
