PT Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate for our retail store. In this role, you’ll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, meet sales and add-on goals, process transactions, and maintain merchandising standards. You’ll support school service programs, promote lessons and repairs, and help create an engaging, educational, and community-focused store environment while modeling our collaborative, performance-oriented culture. Assist customers with selection of instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Deliver high-level customer service to students, parents, and educators Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals Accurately process sales, rentals, and returns using POS systems Maintain merchandising, signage, and store presentation standards Support inventory receiving, stocking, and organization Promote lessons, repair services, and school programs Collaborate with team members to support store events and outreach Provide basic product demonstrations and share instrument knowledge Uphold company policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer service Product knowledge – musical instruments Cash handling Merchandising Inventory management basics Sales reporting Upselling and cross-selling Basic computer skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Background in music performance or education preferred Experience with band and orchestra instruments strongly preferred
