Oracle Performance Engineer

Oracle Database Performance Specialist Support Oracle database performance across development, QA, and production environments. Diagnose and resolve complex SQL and database performance bottlenecks. Drive SQL tuning and query optimization activities, providing recommendations. Analyze application workloads and recommend performance. Collaborate closely with application architects, developers, middleware, and infrastructure teams to improve end-to-end system performance. Evaluate database architecture and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Perform root cause analysis for critical production performance incidents and provide long-term resolution recommendation. Strong expertise in Oracle RDBMS versions 19c, 12c, and 11gR2.Advanced knowledge of Oracle performance tuning methodologies and internals. Expertise in SQL tuning, execution plans, optimizer behaviour and I/O performance tuning. Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) / Cloud Control. Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting skills in UNIX/Linux environments. Exposure to automation and monitoring tools for proactive performance management.
