Job Shift: Day Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. Working from our Eagan, MN office, we are currently in search of a Medical Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist with experience and knowledge of many medical insurance payers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and work time sensitive in-coming insurance verifications based on priority level. Verify insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and required medical documentation for all applicable payers, able to problem solve any odd ball/uncommon insurances. Ability to navigate insurance portals, IVR systems, etc. Review documentation for validity to bill third-party payers. May include but not limited to: Medical Documentation: prescriptions, progress/chart notes from different sources, oxygen saturation/sleep study results, etc. Delivery Documentation received from multiple branches within NRS. High level of accuracy in data entry and filing

Qualifications: Well versed in Medical insurance/terminology/billing. Experience with HME is a plus Great communication skills: written and verbal, contacting referrals, facilities, patients, etc. Work individually and as a team to meet individual and departmental goals Participate in individual feedback sessions, staff meetings and annual training and/or competency tests Northwest Respiratory Services is a privately held, regional leader in the respiratory product and service industry.
