Senior Ember Engineer, Front End

Requirements: We want 4+ years of professional frontend development experience. We are looking for strong experience building applications with Ember.js. We need familiarity with modern Ember concepts such as Octane, Glimmer Components, Tracked Properties, Services, Ember Data, and current testing approaches. We value experience upgrading and sustaining long-lived frontend applications through framework and dependency updates. We require strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. We expect experience building performant, maintainable, and scalable web applications. We look for a solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component design patterns. We want experience implementing and maintaining automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. We require experience working with CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and automated deployment processes. We value a proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a production environment. We look for strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills. We expect excellent communication and collaboration abilities. We value self-motivation, problem-solving, and time-management skills. You should be able to thrive in a fast-changing environment. A bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience is required.

Responsibilities: We design, develop, test, and maintain user-facing web applications using Ember.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. We build accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces aligned with modern frontend standards. We lead new feature delivery, enhancements, technical improvements, and modernization work. We partner with backend engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. We follow and promote modern Ember development practices, including Octane architecture, Glimmer components, and current framework best practices. We proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve security vulnerabilities, dependency risks, and application security concerns. We build and maintain automated tests to support quality, reliability, and maintainability across frontend applications. We work within CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and development workflows. We optimize application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and user experience. We deliver high-quality features and enhancements with minimal supervision while collaborating on large cross-functional initiatives.
