Enterprise Virtual Platform Management Support Services (EVPMS) Virtual Platform Administrator

Position Overview: Leads the management of virtualized infrastructure spanning on-premises data centers and DoD/commercial cloud platforms (private, public, and hybrid). Drives implementation and upgrades of hosts, hypervisors, and virtual application software; ensures maximum availability, robust security, and strong integrity of all virtual resources; proactively monitors, alerts, and remediates issues; applies timely patches to development, test, pre-production, and production environments; serves as the principal troubleshooter for hosts, hypervisors, and virtual infrastructure; maintains comprehensive, current system documentation; and champions best practices in capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
