Restaurant Host / Hostess

Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Monitor dining room seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction. Communicate guest needs and special requests to servers and management. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about restaurant services. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist with guest inquiries, concerns, and service recovery when appropriate. Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow. Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return. Follow company policies, service standards, and appearance guidelines. Support restaurant operations with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements: Previous customer service, hospitality, or restaurant experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and guest service skills. Basic computer and phone skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule Flexible schedule required. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and overtime as needed based on hotel occupancy, staffing needs, and business levels.
