Orientation Leader NYC Spring 2027

Orientation Leader Responsibilities: An Orientation Leader will: Attend and participate in training sessions for spring 2027 Serve as a positive representative of the University to new, transfer and international students and their families. Facilitate new, transfer and international students' introduction to the University by maintaining open and effective communication techniques. Promote interaction among new, transfer and international students during small group discussions, icebreakers, meals, and evening activities. Answer student and parent questions about social and academic aspects of University life. Facilitate small group interactions on various topics at Orientation. Facilitate small activities for new students through direct involvement. Supervise activities while living among new students attending Orientation sessions that could violate Pace University policy (i.e. drugs and alcohol).Work closely and cooperate with other Orientation Leaders and staff to develop, prepare, implement, and evaluate the Orientation programs. Work closely with Student Engagement professional staff to assist and support all aspects of the Orientation program. All Orientation Leaders are required to provide administrative support for the program by maintaining office hours each week during employment at the Student Engagement office. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must have served as an Orientation Leader during the Summer 2026 sessions.
