What You Will Do:
Lead the design and implementation of custom manufacturing equipment, workstations, tooling, and automation solutions that support production objectives. Develop and enhance manufacturing technologies to improve equipment performance, reliability, quality, and throughput. Support new product introductions by providing manufacturing equipment and process design expertise. Mentor engineers on machine design principles, equipment development, and manufacturing methods used to achieve defined product specifications. Direct equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities for manufacturing systems and controlled environments. Lead cross-functional engineering projects by defining requirements, managing timelines, documenting progress, and recommending technical solutions. Design and execute engineering tests and validation activities; analyze data and present recommendations based on results. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, defect reduction, production efficiency, and achievement of manufacturing performance targets.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related disciplined preferred Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, equipment design, machine design, automated machinery, or a related technical field. Experience with mechanical design and development, including Solid Works design and drawing creation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Familiarity with User Requirements Specification (URS) documentation practices Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)$93,800 - $156,200 USD Annual
