Utilities Engineering Expert

Responsibilities: Lead the design review, equipment selection and contractor coordination for mechanical utility systems (e.g., refrigeration, boilers/steam, compressed air, chilled water, HVAC and wastewater treatment) Develop maintenance strategies, SOPs and monitoring systems to ensure utilities are safe, compliant and continuously available Manage utility and wastewater system startup/commissioning and transition to full-scale production operations Partner with Engineering, Operations, EHS and Facilities to ensure utilities meet business needs and regulatory requirements Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize uptime, efficiency and cost-effectiveness Drive energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction initiatives aligned to sustainability goals

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred)10+ years of utilities engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG/food & beverage/CPG experience noted as preferred in the order) Hands-on experience with large-scale refrigeration systems and mechanical utilities in high-volume production environments Proven expertise with wastewater treatment system design, operation and compliance Strong project management experience delivering complex infrastructure/capital projects on time and within budget Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into actionable insights and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $140,000-160,000 Benefits (Direct Hire):Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance Bonus Eligibility: Eligible to earn discretionary bonus.
