Entry/Junior Level Manufacturing Engineer Our client is a very well established manufacturer of products for the expanding electric power industry. They have an immediate need for an entry/junior level manufacturing engineer to join their staff in Memphis. They would love someone bilingual Spanish/English but it is not mandatory. They will assist with relo, but really ideally for someone who is renting an apartment who would be an inexpensive relo. This entry-level engineer is responsible for supporting production processes, learning manufacturing systems, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives under close supervision. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Assist in developing and maintaining standard work instructions Support process troubleshooting on the production floor Collect and analyze basic production data (scrap, cycle time, downtime)Participate in Lean / Six Sigma projects (often as a team member)Help implement process improvements and cost reduction ideas Support tooling, fixtures, and equipment setup Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Work with operators and technicians to resolve day-to-day issues
