We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a well-established community pharmacy team in New Albany, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing high-quality clinical care, and working alongside an experienced pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide professional pharmacy services and ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on medications, proper use, potential interactions, and general health concerns
- Administer immunizations and support other clinical pharmacy services
- Perform prospective drug utilization reviews and identify potential medication-related concerns
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy team members
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
- Assist with inventory management and controlled-substance procedures
- Deliver a high level of patient service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmDActive Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing
- Ability to obtain and maintain required immunization credentials
- Current or ability to obtain CPR certification
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
