Senior Attorney

Required: 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following, with 2+ years of exempt or management experience in the applicable field: attorney professional development, career counseling or coaching, attorney recruiting, in-house or law firm practice, or alumni relations and legal career services Demonstrated experience advising lawyers on career transitions, ideally including in-house moves Familiarity with legal markets, legal operations, and corporate hiring needs Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn iManage and other firm technology Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours and to travel, as required Strong resume editing, interview coaching, and narrative development skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to give direct yet supportive feedback High emotional intelligence, sound independent judgment, and the discretion to handle sensitive career conversations as a trusted, neutral advisor Especially Helpful: A bachelor's and/or JD degree is preferred, as is prior supervisory experience. A strong aptitude for developing programs and workshops, and comfort building relationships across practice groups, offices, alumni, and clients, are also highly valued.
